What is Marine Grade Wire?

Ancor individually tins each strand of copper wire to ensure optimal conductivity and to offer optimal corrosion protection. They then add a proprietary jacketing material that is extremely UV and corrosion resistant.

We carry all ABYC recommended colors in a variety of sizes to handle any wiring project.

Primary Cable - 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8 & 6 AWG cable.
Battery Cable - 4, 2, 1, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0 AWG cable and assemblies.
Also available is Multi Conductor, Duplex, Triplex & Trailer

You will also need heat shrink tubing to cover and protect all connections. We offer a 47-piece kit that includes a large assortment of sizes to get the job done correctly.

Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing (ALT) insulates and protects wire, cables and terminations.

Two final thoughts remember:

  1. If the wire size is not large enough, your appliance will not function correctly (or not at all) so use the link to the circuit wizard and determine the correct wire size before your purchase.
  2. Do not forget to add additional wire for add-ons in the future.
